Slovan Bratislava DM Karim Guédé (26) should get slovak citizenship this summer. As he spent already 5 years in Slovakia, he shall be eligible to represent Slovakia. He alone showed interest, while Vladimir Weiss, who coached him in Petržalka, declared many times he want him in a team.

He was born in Hamburg but iss of Togolese descent. Guédé never represented Togo so we can grab him and run

During the pre-World Cup preparations, Guédé was called-up by Togo, and spent a week with a team preparing for 06 World Cup. Due to injury he suffered he didn´t play a minute for Togo.

he would be able to play both, but he´s excellent on DM. Karhan (34) got unfortunately old and Kopunek needs to play first on club level to think about NT.

Guédé can alternate with Kucka.

After 5 years living in Slovakia, Karim applied for slovak citizenship and got it in late July, and was immediatelly called up by Weiss for Austria friendly. Happy to see the man in Slovak jersey, he´s great DM.
