Hello fellow Samp followers,

In February I shall be coming over with 3 mates (all English) to do a mini-European football tour.

Basically we're going to Juve v Samp, Genoa v Torino and then over to Barca for the Atletico game.

For the Juve v Samp game I'd like to go in the away end, would it just be pay on the gate? What kind of attendance do you think there will be at the game? How many Samp fans given it's a Weds night?

Thanks

Hi Simon, if it was at Marassi and on sunday afternoon I'd tell you: get the ticket a long time before. On the contrary Delle Alpi is hardly sold out. I was there for Juve-Samp in the last season and indeed there were many empty seats. Wednesday evening in winter means: very few supporters. However those of Samp at Delle Alpi are usually relegated in the so called "gabbia" (cage).
See pic:

you can go there if you want to sing, scream. Consider that if you go there you could have to wait before leaving the stadium at the end of the match and/or you could be escorted together with the other supporters of Sampdoria in order to keep the public order and maybe this is a bit annoying ... if you want to spend a quiet night just watching the match then I advise you against that.

the only ever seria a match i saw was juve-torino...and i recall a torino fan screaming "aiuto..aiuto" chased by a bunch of juve supporters. The guy was on his scooter and they pushed him against another car, and the drive of that car wacked him on the head to dinting his car :howler:. luckily for the guy the police came....otherwise it was a bunch of juve suppers screaming "bastardo" against one torino fan screaming "aiuto aiuto".
so anyones advice would be...if you are a nuetral supporter, stay away from either side..go where there is no one. otherwise stay in the bunch of supporters and leave with them like toni said.

When i saw samp v bari, my uncle who supports bari..could not open his mouth and had to just stand and he even clapped for samp :howler: cause we were in granada sud. (hope thats right)

About Bari: during my military service in Udine I went to Friuli stadium for the game Udinese - Bari (final score 4-0 :pp ) with some friends from Bari who were in my same barracks. We all went into the sector reserved to the supporters Bari (an entire curva).
At the end of the match we wanted to go back to the barracks but the policemen told us: "You have to follow us together with the other supporters of Bari". They brought us with a special bus (I don't tell you what the supporters of Bari did in it) to a railway station 10 kms far from Udine where there was the special train which had to bring the supporters back to Bari. We said. "Hey, we have not to go to Bari. We must go back to the barracks here in Udine". The answer was: "Ok, but there is no bus" so we had to go back to the barracks on foot.

Hello again. Just a few weeks away :D

Our hotel in Turin is booked. So what do you guys think? Can we pay at the Delle Alpi for tickets with the Samp fans?

If you are interested in getting a place in the "cage" together with the other supporters of Sampdoria perhaps you'd better get it before. The cage for the supporters of Sampdoria is rather narrow and with the enthusiasm around Sampdoria now maybe it could be fullfilled (maybe).
If you are simply interested in a ticket in any other sector then don't worry: you can get it easily just before the game.
Delle Alpi sucks, you'd better watch a game at Marassi. :shades:

Hmm, I'll speak to the lads and see what they think. Any ideas how I'd get a ticket in the cage before going to the game?
You can buy the tickets online on the official site of Juventus, but I don't know whether it's possible for the tickets of the cage (the name is SETTORE OSPITI).

Any update on the tickets? Have Samp sold out the away end?

We're planning on just turning up on the day and getting tickets although we could order online now.

Milan fans used the cage very well when I saw Juve v Milan. I must admit, Milan won the battle of the fans even if they obviously had far less.

No update but getting the tickets just before the game seems to be a good choice.
