GH said, he prefered to buy the players before World Cup 98... because after the World Cup, those players would be lured by big clubs in Europe.
So, I think, GH will buy some players he wants before the EURO 2000... otherwise, who knows? After Euro 2000, those players might go to the big clubs in Europe, right?

I'm half hoping none of them play, or at least get knocked out early on. Looks like England will anyway.

I have the fingers crossed that England lose all their games (apologies to the english lads/lasses: 600 years of oppression and all that). I'm going to the Brussels 1/4 final so I dont want England there. I wanna enjoy me beer in the sun not having Ingurland fans running amok.

cos we have quite a lot of internationals-
smicer, berger, gerard, owen, heskey,westerfeld..etc..

and i guess next season will be pretty tough!
