TUTTOSPORT 24/5-2000
Juventus is helping PSG get Nicolas Anelka from Real Madrid. PSG has Lit 60 billion offer and Juve would have an option on the player for the 2001-02 season. Meanwhile, the interest in Fernando Morientes is still hot, though the player is behind Hernan Crespo and Christian Vieri in order of preference.

Portuguese radio "Antena 1" has revelead that Juve has reached an agreement with 21-year old midfielder Aldo Pedro Duscher [Sporting Lisbon]. Juve's offer is Sunday Oliseh plus Lit 18 billion. Duscher is Argentinian with Austrian citizenship.

Juventus might convince Udinese to sell it 25-year old midfielder Stefano Fiore, since it has the player Udinese is looking for to replace Roberto Sosa: Nicola Amoruso. This could become a much bigger deal if Giuliano Giannichedda, Marco Zanchi, Morgan De Sanctis, and Marco Zamboni's names get involved.

A possible arrival of Fiore would mean that Antonio Conte's role would be revisited and this, together with the conclusion of the championship, has made Conte a very quiet (and angry) person, who has yet to speak to reporters since he joined the National team at the beginning of the week.

Fabian O'Neill was reached by journalists in Uruguay. O'Neill said that he's happy to be Zinedine Zidane's substitute and that he can also help Juve in other sections of the field (right, left, middle). O'Neill also wants to ask teammate Paolo Montero how Juve managed to lose the title.

With Ermanno Pieroni named Torino's general manager, it is likely that Luca Bucci will leave the team, maybe even joining rival Juve to become Edwin Van der Sar's sub. Pieroni, while he was Perugia's GM, and Bucci had an incident after Perugia-Torino, with Pieroni accusing Bucci of kicking him and of stubbing out a cigarette in Pieroni's face. Pieroni had appeared the following day on a sports talk show wearing a big bandage and crying. A commission then found out that Bucci was not responsible and Pieroni was fined and suspended for one month.
