I'll translate this soon, but here it it:

Juan Roman Riquelme is going through the worst time of his life. It has noting to do with football. It has everything to do with the insecurity that day by day is affecting Argentines. Cristian, one of the younger brothers of the Boca star was kidnapped yesterday and the kidnappers have demanded $300,000 for his release.

The 18 year-old (born September 30, 1983) is a player in the lower divisions of Platense and yesterday was at the home of a friend. According to information from Channel TN, he disappeared on the Panamericana highway near Don Torcutao.

The president of Platense, Raul Ferrari, said today that Cristian had reappeared. "The secretary of the club called me and told me that he was back." But this information was denied later by the president of Boca, Mauricio Macri.

"We tried to maintain the news in strictest confidence, but it involved too many people and we could not keep the secret. We must be very careful because there is a life in danger," admitted Macri to Radio la Red.

According to information, the kidnappers communicated last night with Roman by cell phone and demanded the payment of $300,000 to return his brother.

what a relief to hear then! :)

Sites still report that there will be updates on the situation, but luckily enough I don't have to wait for that.

Just think of how ****ing dangerous it is to be a star then, that they actually 'harass' your family :yuck:

There is no such thing as real love.

Hate has done more good in our human world than real love could ever do.

The Riquelme family's real love for Cristian will promote the financial benefits of such cowardly and desparate deeds.

We live in harsh and desparate times.

Hell is truely empty folks.

You hit the hammer on the head, Gollum.

Absolute Good, Evil, Love and Hate all co-exist in trival and often absolutely indistinguishable ways.

It is obvious to us humans that the Riquelme family decision was the "correct" one and an act of "real" Love.

But in the larger scheme of things... who are we to can say that it won't cause more bad than good?

btw I hate you, Gollum, but I know you won't take offence from that!
