Hello!
I need your help and will appreciate anything you can give me.
As you might know, the jewish-german millionaire, Daniel Yamer, the owner of Senec, has purchased the Isaeli team of Maccabi Netanya from the first division. He already brought here two players (Okocha and Mihailik), and now he claims he wants Valovic as coach.
As an Israeli journalist, I am trying to compile info abput Valovic for my newspaper, but all internet info available is not in English. Can anyone help me and give me general details about Valovic? Things like where he played, his coaching career, his history with Senec and general knowledge about his personal life and personality.
Thank you in advance, hope to hear from you soon.

In February 2004 had Jozef Valovic conflict with Jozef Adamec. They were boxing together in Senec before the friendly game :rollani:

Btw Jozef Valovic is a candidate of Slovak Nationalist Partyin next parliament election. This political Party is considered as ultra-nationalist.
Very interesting information. I know this is off-topic, but what is the main platform of Slovakian Nationalist Party? I couldn't help to notice that their chairwoman has a Russian last name ....

she´s Slovakian, her husband was Russian, passed away a year ago.

Howabout platform of SNS (Slovenska Narodna Strana) it´s typical nationalist party with their usual blah blah about love to homeland, xenophobia egainst imigrants, Hungarians, Roma etc.

Is Valovic Slovakian or Czech? I can't find a proof. Did he coach any national teams?
Valovic is Slovakian.

In 1999, he was assistent of coach of Slovakian NT. Main coach - Dusan Galis - resigned as a protest against re-election of Frantisek Laurinec to the head of Slovak Football Association. After Galis resigned, Valovic was named by SFA to lead NT as a main coach in friendly against Bulgaria (BG-SVK in Stara Zagora). Short before the kick-off was new coach of NT named Jozef Adamec and Valovic was in fact fired. Adamec choose another assistant, feeling antipathy towards Valovic since Valovic changed Adamec in Inter Bratislava in autumn 1995.

IMO Valovic isn´t mentioned in any list of previous NT-coaches.

Just for your information this thread created mayhem in Israeli press. One of the biggest national newspapers took the info presented here and questioned both Valovic and Jammer, they seem very bothered by this and there's a decent chance this will fail the deal.

really ? SNS (Slovenska Narodna Strana - Slovak National Party) is mostly anti-hungarian biased, xenophobic etc but I never heard about anti-semitism

Friend of mine who knows Jozef Valovic in person talking only nice things about him.

I honestly think Valovic isn´t extremist. It sometimes happens when someone who is tooooo crazy about football/sports has no clue about the real life a can easily get misused by political parties, especially before the elections. Of course, it´s up to their responsibility who are they going support to but due to their bookishness they are easier target.

In my hometown, 11 of 12 town council´s members are nominees of SNS. Knowing these people inside down, they all are nice but when comes to Hungarian question are like suspicious kids, blaming hungarians for separatism etc. SNS feeds the people with this agenda last 15 years and nobody takes them seriously already. Even the Hungarians are laughing over them. Funny thing is that this political Party has the fan-base mostly in northern Slovakia while mixed slovakian/hungarian speaking area is located down to south of Slovakia. Mutual relations here at south are almost trouble free but many Slovakians from north fed by these chaotics probably think it´s a war time :D

Yeah from the article this is what I understood as well, they also interviewed a Slovakian goalkeeper called Martin Pesco, he used to play for Netanya and now lives in Slovakia so he said pretty much the same that they're just anti Hungarian etc. But still it is very disturbing for their club, the history of the party and the personality put Valovic in a very different light. People like to judge others quickly, especially if they're from another country and especially if they never heard of them before.

I can hardly imagine Jozef Valovic as rasist or right-extremist. He´s coach of SENEC, town inhabited by 22% of Hungarians. President of FC Senec and his boss is German Jew Daniel Jammer. Manager of club is Italian and some of FC Senec best players are black guys Samadu Awudu, Wiliam Anane (ex Eintr.Frankfurt am.), Wiliam Dogbe or french-arabian Yussef Moughfire (ex Ulm).
