Harry Redknapp is closing in on Jordi Cruyff as he looks to end the his Old Trafford nightmare. :)

Cruyff has given himself a "two week" deadline to find a new club and sources believe that West Ham is his likely destination, with a deal being mooted for early next week.

The versatile Jordi Cruyff, now a free agent, has been released by Alex Ferguson after four miserable years at Old Trafford and a close season move to Upton Park is said to be nearing a conclusion. :)

Where should he go then?, he doesn't want to join Ajax, and Ajax doesn't want him, and he definitely couldn't cut it in the Primera.

Southampton manager Glenn Hoddle has joined the race to sign out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Jordi Cruyff.

"Southampton have asked for a meeting and they are keen," said Martin. "We are also talking to two Spanish clubs and two other English clubs.

"Harry Redknapp is interested, but he has told us he doesn't have the money to fund the deal yet. We want Jordi to have as many choices as possible, but he will make a definite decision by Friday."
