John Terry Carjacked!

By The Reporter
Date: 9/1/2005

John Terry was yesterday sensationally carjacked as he made the journey to watch Chelsea's FA Cup tie against Scunthorpe. After Jose Mourinho decided to rest him, the player travelled to the ground later than he ordinarily would have if he had been playing.

Stuck in the Fulham traffic, John was spotted by a Chelsea supporter who seized the opportunity to ask the Chelsea, and soon to be England captain for a lift. Remaining as cool as he does on the pitch, he asked, "Where to?"
The supporter replied, "Just up to the ground."
He then explained that he was 'known' by many of the stewards at Stamford Bridge and that he wanted to see the look on a couple of their faces if they saw him turn up with a player.
Laughing, John said, "Go on then!"
Quicker than a Robben run at goal, the Chelsea supporter was in the passenger seat of the car, accompanied by the cheers of other Blues who had witnessed the feat.
During the journey, the conversation turned to Chelsea's current run and John said, "We haven't won anything yet."
"We could win all four!" came the reply.
With a look of determination on his face and sounding confident, John said simply, "Let's hope so…"
When they got to the ground and as the Chelsea supporter got out of the car, he turned to John and said, "Do you know what? We f*ckin love you!"
"Go on The Chels!" came the reply.

This tale does not quite end there though. Having 'gobsmacked' a couple of the stewards after making his 'grand' entry, the Chelsea Supporter' went to have a laugh with them about it. While talking, another steward came over and interrupted the conversation. "This fell out of John's car when the door opened," he said, handing over a credit card holder with a couple of bits of plastic in it. The Chelsea's security system immediately kicked-in and, while the airwave's resounded to a full alert, someone was despatched with the 'missing' items to return them to John with all possible haste.

Although he was walking some two feet off the ground after meeting the Chelsea Captain, a tinge of paranoia set in when the Chelsea supporter suddenly realised that John might have thought that he been robbed.

John, we here at BAWA.net know the individual and, as far as Chelsea's concerned, 'he's as honest as the day is long'. That said, later that afternoon, the same Chelsea supporter also met and had a conversation with Suggs, the man who, in his days with Madness, immortally coupled the previous saying with the line, "the longer the daylight the less I do wrong!"

We leave you, the reader to make your own mind up as to the character of the supporter involved but, all we here at BAWA.net have to say on the subject is, in our opinion at least, you can "Trust him… he's a Chelsea Supporter!"

I don't see anything here about anyone carjacking him... they hitched a lift and may have stolen a credit card on purpose or accident, that's a robbery, not a carjacking. ;) :pp

Don't blame me, blame the author. It's obvious the title is there to mislead the reader. It worked didn't it :shades:

I think most of the people that read this article, cared more about the car Terry was driving rather than whole incident.

Man the whole thing did not happen. This is the true version of events. Terry meets a nice young lady standing in a street corner, he has a nice negotiation and they agree a deal :nervous: . He gives the nice young lady a lift, she tells him she knows half of the management in Chelsea intimatly :D . She took his credit Card for the service as he did not have any cash on him.

Later when his team mates asked him why he was late, he told them the story. To his suprise they all had a similar experince with a nice young lady. The PR people than created the Fake story about helping a fan :shades:

The End.
