22 June 2002 (Teamtalk) -- U.S. Under-18 goalkeeper Jason Landers is considering a contract offer from Manchester City, where he will be assigned to their youth team.
The 16-year-old currently plays for Pennsylvania youth team FC Delco, and according to his father the six foot six inch keeper is in advanced discussions on when City would like him to start his career at the Premiership club.

Landers started four of the U.S. Under-18 matches in the Bordeaux Tournament in France this year where the young American helped the States win the competition, which led to the initial contact from The Blues.

Anyone know who this is?

And he's not playing basketball! What does that say about soccer's growing popularity among American youth!
