FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) -

The New England Revolution renegotiated the contract of striker Wolde Harris and signed him for next season.
Harris, 27, had three goals and five assists last year. He was the Revolution's leading scorer in 2000, with 15 goals and seven assists.

The Revolution acquired Harris in 2000 in a draft-day trade with Colorado, where he had eight goals and eight assists in 1999.

A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Harris has made more than 20 appearances with the Jamaican national team.

Terms of Harris' new deal were not disclosed.
