28.12.03 - CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh (TRI) ended 2003, earning the last berth to the 2004 CONCACAF Champions Cup after defeating Vibe CT 105 FM W Connection FC (TRI) 4:2 on penalty kicks in the CFU (Caribbean Football Union) Finals at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday.

After winning the first-leg of the Caribbean Zone Series Final 2:1 on 17 December, Jabloteh lost the second-leg to W Connection 2:1 on 28 December.

Gefferson Goulart gave W Connection a 1:0 lead with a goal in the 24th minute, but Jabloteh equalized with a tally by Cornell Glen in the 41st minute. Kerwin Jemmott got the game-winner in the 51st minute of the second half as W Connection leveled the aggregate score (3:3) against Jabloteh and forced overtime.

After a scoreless two overtime periods, Jabloteh prevailed 4:2 on penalty kicks and qualifies as the Caribbean representative to the CONCACAF Champions Cup, which begins on 17 March 2004.

The 2004 Champions Cup will also features three clubs from Central America and two each from Mexico and the USA.
