J8 ~ Recreativo 1-1 Valencia

I think it was a bad time to play Recre, considering they've just installed a new manager, they were at home and came with a renewed sense of belief. Of course it was a game Valencia should be looking to win considering the start we've had, but a draw away from home was hardly a disaster and it means we're still top of the pile.

Yeh, i usually watch the games back on Sunday night . It's just i can never watch Sunday afternoon games cos' i work then. Which is gayer.

Also, i'm bemused as to why Emery doesn't start Moro and Villa upfront in away games. For me, our best AWAY half was Almeria 2nd half which was with Moro and Villa up top.

I don't get it either. I'd agree with him to a point, if we wanted to play counter attacking football at Huelva, but it's clear he wanted to dominate possession. Maybe he thinks Morientes couldn't handle playing a full gruelling away match (he could always sub him out) or maybe he just wants a big gun on the bench like he uses Vicente, to change games.
