We deserved more IMO. We had possession and created chances. Fernandes should have been kept on I think.

real do have a better squad than us, but we have a great squad also, we would have won if we had silva, some of our players are not creative enough.

Baraja and Machena haven't played for ages. What was Unai thinking?

I think Vicente's really to push for a start. And Mata's not fit to play in the center. Maybe 1 or 2 years later.

All of the midfield should take shooting classes. (bar Vicente) One of the reasons Villa and Mata stood out in goals is because the rest don't know how to do shoot.

Two points lost, imo. With all the possession and the efforts going forward, we deserved more. And I taught we were gonna get something, but we lost a bit of edge when Manelele was brought out. Him and Baraja for the rest of the ninety minutes would've been better, but I guess Unai wanted defensive security in midfield to stay safe.

Still top of the table and the players should just take this as a lesson learned. Take your chances and score as early as you can.

it's amazing how expectations change so fast.
imagine how pissed we would be if we lost the title by a goal.
half of us were expecting us to not break into the top 4let alone lead the table, after 8 games or whatever. chill out, we are doing fantastic.:smileani: just one bad game were we dominated and should have won, it is not the end of the world

We need to improve our away form. They muscled us out in the midfield with a lot of pressing and tight marking. Actually this game was very similar to the Malaga and Valladolid games. In those two games we were a bit lucky not to concede and got away with late goals. Tonight we didn't.

Our tactics were too conservative and the defensive line was too deep in the first half. The Vicente sub should've been made at halftime because Angulo was just horrible. The other two subs were pointless. Why not Edu, Pablo or Moro?

Emery's right. We have a lot to improve.

Zigic would've helped us today.

Exactly, for one, Angulo shouldn't start. Is it a surprise we struggle attacking wise in away games, when he always plays.

2. The Marchena sub was pointless, but the Baraja one wasn't. Baraja gets the play going which Albelda can't, who he replaced.

I am just amazed at how Angulo continues to get games ahead of Morientes and even Zigic. He offers absolutely nothing, thats probably the only thing Koeman was right in
