I love it. Tomorrow it's the first competition on a flying hill this year. On Sunday the second and very soon world champs in Planica.

Obersdorf is not the most exciting hill from all those giants but anyway it's the flying hill. Any flying hill excites me like nothing else.

Only 30 competitors to fly tomorrow, of course it's better because of changing conditions.

Qualification was won by world record holder Matti Hautamäki (212m), second was Sigurd Pettersen (208m) and also Simon Ammann (204m) was pretty good. Tommy Ingebrigtsen was average, 22nd if I'm not mistaken.

I had an orgasm after the flight of Roar. He destroyed the hill record of Andreas Widhoelzl (216) and landed to 223!!!!!!!!! That was one of the best flights out of Planica (the longest of course) I've ever seen. The best was probably Hannawald in Vikersund during the WM'98 from what I remeber But this supermega flight of Roar was just miracle.

It's a pity that almost every ski-jumping event this season is a kind of a lottery. The weather conditions are so changeable... I'm pretty sure Hautamaeki would have won in Obersdorf if there have been no wind.

Malysz was disappointing once again. The days of Tajner as a head coach of Polish team are numbered...

By the way, today's competition in Obersdorf will be cancelled most probably. Wind... :rollani:

You know Märco, although the Polish medias claim: "Here he is - Malysz's successor", there are still lots of doubts. Who can guarantee us Rutkowski's future great accomplishments? No-one. Adult competition it's another story. Malysz, on the other hand, already wrote his name on the pages of ski-jumping history. He is a unique jumper and he will be back on the top sooner or later :)

I know.

Well (almost) everybody have his better and worse seasons. Especially Adam. He won few competitions in '96 if I'm not mistaken and then 4 years (or so) of waitting for another victory which came in Innsbruck (or so). It has been 1,5 years since his form went down but I'm pretty sure he will back soon or later.

I can't wait Planica!!!
