But I remember Italy lost a friendly to Belgium before the 2002 WC (I think?) and it wasn't expected either.

pirri is right. it was 3-1 for us (belgians).

anyhow, that was 99 of 2000, back then we were regular at EC's en WC's.
now we haven't played a major tournament since 2002 . we really suck atm, altough we have good youngsters last 2 years. so i expect to be back at WC 2010.

anyhow, it still should be a walk in the park for you guys.

altough i was disappointed by cassano's part, and mainly boriello :amazed:
dear god, how he was chosen above inzaghi is a crime.
