There was word, not too long ago, about Sam's Army testing their skills, pre World Cup against the likes of Rep. Ireland, Italy and Germany, yet there seems to be no mention of those games on the US soccer web site, except for the match v Honduras and Ecuador.

Has anyone heard if those matches are still on? I though that they had too many games scheduled as it were, but looking at the game v. Rep Korea yesterday, it appears that they will need as many games as possible pre World Cup to hone their skills, or last place beckons, again.

I also noticed that the USSF site doesn't list the Italy, Ireland, etc. matches. I'm pretty sure they are going to happen, though. Also, they just added a match against Ecuador in March.

Here's what Sam's Army's site has as the schedule:

2/13 US Men vs Italy
2:30pm at Catania (Palermo), Sicily

3/2 US Men vs Honduras
1:00pm at Seattle, WA
Army Info, TV: ESPN LIVE

3/10 US Men vs Ecuador
4:00pm at Birmingham, AL
Army Info, TV: ABC LIVE

3/27 US Men vs Germany
2:30pm at Rostock, Germany
TV: espn2 Tape Delay: 3/27 10:00pm

4/17 US Men vs Ireland
2:30pm at Dublin, Ireland
Army Info, TV: espn2 LIVE
