Udinese have already beaten us earlier this season mainly because we failed to defend set pieces, and failed to keep our lead after the great Barella free kick. Hopefully we learned from that. Not a carbon copy at all actually, the Supercoppa goal was a delicate, fancy touch, the Udinese goal was powered in because he could not miss again. It is similar in terms of Milan and Udinese defending long balls horribly though, but finishing not identical

A difficult but deserved win for Inter against Udinese. Should have scored 2 or 3 more. The team showed determination and urgency to win the match in the 2nd half, which was better than the rather average first half. What a finish Mkhitaryan, side foot volley isn't an easy technique. Very important to show a reaction after the Samp draw, 2 negative results in a row would have been bad for confidence. Now for the huge Porto match. Forza Inter.

Absolutely awful second half. Udinese should be ashamed that they didn't punish us. I lost track of how many 4 vs 2, 4 vs 3 and 3 vs 2 counters they were gifted and subsequently squandered. Terrible, terrible team.

I don't remember many Udinese attacks like you describe but certainly the goal they scored was a counter we dealt with badly and we were very open on that Success chance.

Weird refereeing, should have been a penalty unless he gives Udinese a freekick for Lukaku's foul in the earlier situation.

Didn't think it was a pen at first...but from the replays, I'd say it's very, very clear.

Yes Udogie shoved Barella. Not sure if Lukaku did an awful lot earlier, wasn't clear. Had it been awarded it would have been a pk and red card, would have made an Inter win much simpler surely.
