Hakan's presentation came a day after Inter signed Verona's
promising midfielder Cristian Brocchi and secured the services
of former Italy international Michele Serena from Parma.
In recent weeks the Milan club, backed by millionaire
Massimo Moratti, have also taken on Spanish midfielder Francisco
Farinos from Valencia and Italy under-21 international defender
Bruno Cirillo from Reggina.
Marcello Lippi will also be able to call on Andrea Pirlo,
one of the players in Italy's European under-21
championship-winning side, who has returned to the San Siro
after a season on loan at Reggina.
To make room for the new arrivals Inter have off-loaded a
number of players. Portugal midfielder Paulo Sousa has moved to
Panathinaikos, goalkeeper Angelo Perruzzi heads for champions
Lazio and Francesco Moriero and Salvatore Fresi have signed for
newly-promoted Napoli.

Yes Lippi can now call on Pirlo's services but whether or not he does is a different story.
