Inter title bid knocked by Vieri and Ronaldo injuries
Tuesday 23 April 2002
Internazionale have seen injuries to Christian Vieri and Ronaldo hit their title run-in.
Inter lead Serie A by a point from Juventus and two points from defending champions with two games to play.
The Milan club are chasing their first title since 1989 and both strikers are suffering thigh strains making them doubtful for Sunday's home game with Piacenza.
Reserve strikers Nicola Ventola and Uruguayan Alvaro Recoba could both be fielded on Sunday if the top stars fail to recover from their strains and both are out of training at present.
Inter have also lost centre back Marco Materazzi to injury.
