INTER FOURTH IN EUROPE FOR AVERAGE CROWD ATTENDANCE

MILAN - A survey on football and the competitiveness of clubs in relation to the average crowd attendances at stadiums was published in today's edition of 'Sole-24 Ore' newspaper. Conducted on a Europe-wide basis, the survey results see Inter in fourth place for the average number of spectators at the San Siro.

During the 2001/02 season, 62,434 Inter fans were present on average at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, behind Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid. The other Italian clubs mentioned in the European Football Statistics survey are placed as follows: Roma (6th place with an average of 59,402 spectators), AC Milan (7th place; average 58,616), Lazio (18th place, average 42,684) and Juventus (20th place, average 40,687).

and i expect our average to get bigger next year with the CL matches and also coz of Ronaldo !

this is IMO the main reason why Inter never had any economical problems ....
