I think this thread is a good idea to see how people think about what the ideal NT should be

you may post your call ups (gk, def, mf, fw) 25 players and another 10 reserves

your formation and tactic (against great teams, decent teams and average ones)

this might be interesting

my call up for friendly against Latvia would be:

GKs: Lobont, Stancioiu

Defenders: Contra, Sapunaru, Tamas, Moti, Radoi, Pulhac

Midfielders: Ghioane, Lazar, Prepelita, Deac, Trica, Aliuta, G.Paraschiv

Forwards: Dica, Mutu, Marica, Bratu



1st half:

If by ideal you mean something like this: Sanmartean, Stoica and Mitea in full form, as they haven't been in years... well, I'll give it a go:

DF: Ogararu, Sapunaru, Goian, Ghionea, St. Radu, Tamas, Rat, Sepsi

DF/MF: Chivu, Radoi

MF: Stoica, Sanmartean, Ghioane, Lazar, Szekely, Ad. Cristea

FW: Marica, Mitea, Mutu, Stancu

Well that´s too painful :moan:. I think PMC means what would we do with the players available, something that at least we can check against the results, cause it´s impossible to know how it would be with a full form Mitea for example, but if i ask for Costea to be called and he doesn´t play well for his team then we can agree Piturca was right.

Well he´s a complete player and he knows how to score goals too. He was in better form the past season though. He says that he plays bad in the next 3 games he will retire from football :neutral:

Well, GK's remain the same (Coman out, Bornescu in), as do defenders and forwards (except Bratu instead of Mitea).

At the moment, our MFs are all on off days, weeks, months, whatever...

But... Szekely, Ad. Cristea, Dica, Ghioane, Lazar, and Torje

That's probably the most talented squad at the moment, barring the injuries of Janos and Dorin...

introducing Tatarasanu after the U 21 qualification (+ maybe U 21 EC) for one of the latter 2's, dependent on who's playing worse. All 3 are getting old...the sooner the better we start to plan with him.

Midfielders:

Contra, Szekely, Ghioane, Lazar, Radoi, Chivu, Deac

slowly replacing Contra during qualification with somebody who show's a good form:
Torje, Prepelita, Florescu....i would even consider Torje from the beginning in our squad instead of Contra.

Strikers:

Marica, Dica, Mutu, Costea

calling Keserü if he keeps on being a starter for Nantes and scores his goals. also following Stancu closely...

this team will never come true but it would be my dream if it comes true one day, it's just such a young!!! quality squad (of course with a lot of ifs considering injuries and players being out of form, there are some unconstant players...), every player is very good and special. of course i would keep the door open for "fallen angels" like Cernat, Stoica, Sanmartean and Mitea if they should find back to their old days.

If I were the NT coach, I'd allow the people to drag me in chains through the streets of Cluj. I'd also resign and write a public apology to all 20 million fans.

I would blame the players, myself and the federation and applaud the fans.
