If you could bring back 1 Croatian player from 1990-2006 to todays Croatia squad who would it be? Of course the player has to be retired now and we are judging him on his peak performance. Im going to go with a weird pick and say Asanovic, what he brought to Croatia was heart and awesome skill plus he scored Croatias first goal ever.

Yep, that was his first touch on the first game of the season for Chelsea on his debut. I think it was voted goal of the season.

Obviously without Eduardo Suker would be everyone's #1. If we can't have him Prso always got us timely goals, Jarni would be such a great LB with this team but Asa and his elbows would allow Modric to do whatever he wanted in the middle of the field.
