The Brazilian championship is the most open championship in the world! ANyone can win, as each semester theri are brilliant players coming up with brilliant teams.
Amoroso basically Brazilian club is the following:
Teams of the people:
Corinthians and Flamengo....with Atletico-MG, Internacional , Bahia etc..being regional popular forces, while Corinthians and Flamengo (specially Flamengo) national power support.
MIddle class teams:
Palmeiras, Vasco, Botafogo, Santos (a port team , and a team of old support cause of Pele). Palmeiras and Vasco have colonial support, Palemiras and Italian team, and Vasco a POrtuguese colony team. As is POrtuguesa in Sao Paulo.
Upper class teams:
Sao Paulo and FLuminense. FLuminense has the bigges t crissi of the years, last year they played in the third division , and now they went up to the second. THeir team is still crap.
Sao Paulo have a good team, and as always bringing up brilliant players.
Gremio also a team of rich guys.
Cruzeiro also, a upper middle class team from Belo HOrizonte.....with strong Italian colony. As Palmeiras it was called Palestra Italia, but had to change the name during the war!
In Brazil we support the shirt not the player! Players and managers chenge teams.....the suporter will alaways be with the team!

If you want a team with excitment, their is no better than COrinthians, winning things on the last minute etc.....making the supporters suffer always...but at the end we always win
Even if we don't we know that Corinthians will alawya sbe the ebst, cause we have the force...the others don't!!
