Tony Vidmar has now joined the ever increasing ranks of those players who declare that for a variety of reasons they expect to leave a club at the end of their current contract only to do an about turn when a new manager arrives and they actually get a game.

He joins distinguished company like Michael Mols of Rnagers, Johan Mjallby of Celtic and David Ginola of Aston Villa, and in a dig at former Ibrox boss D.Advocaat, Vidmar says "I have played about 40 games for two seasons in a row and then Arthur Numan comes back and that's difficult to take."

What do you think? Is Tony Vidmar good enough to secure a starting place in the Rangers lineup?
