Clear your cache in IE/Mozilla/whatever Browser you use. I recommend downloading CCleaner which will do it all for you plus clean your registry of any old outdated entries, you can clear out all your cookies/temp and other non required data that clogs your backwards windows machine.
Also check your system out with Spybot, make sure no Malware is on your machine, this can cause some weird sh!t to happen

Once you have tried those see how you go. Hopefully it is fixed!
