31 May Hungary - Croatia

the tournament in Bruxelles won't be held for whatever reasons, too good I didn't buy my airticket yet, so it will be replaced by this one. so it will be the official euro 2012 joint bid final game in Budapest. :D

yep, Bilic has been asking for this game for months, because he believes Hungary and Austria are similar in play. Don't know if that's the case, but smarter than Joachim Low who believes Serbia is a good test for Croatia :lala: :pp

Also, I'm afraid that this match won't be a home match for Hungary, which is a shame, would hate to be the Hungarian players and probably 50% of the crowd won't give a **** about you :D

What do you mean by this exactly..

If U mean that Croatian supporters don't give a shit about Hungary, that seems a little bit strange since it can be considered a 'Balkan-Derby' no..

When Debrecen went to Split and destroyed Hajduk there were a couple of thousand Hungarian supporters also. Hungary brings a lot of away supporters too. So that could mean there's gonna be a great atmosphere at this game too no..
no no no no, I mean a trip to Hungary is very easy for Croatian supporters, it's not like going to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and those other wacky non-European nations UEFA forces us to play ;)

From what I get from the few Hungarians I know on from here, the people in Hungary don't seem to be into the sport anymore. I don't know how popular the Hungarian NT is, but Croatia, if a game was played on Mars some fools would still probably go :D

And yes, I remember the Debrecen fans in Split, I was actually in Cro during that year, they brought a good number of fans, but let me tell you, a lot of them were not Debrecen fans, mainly Hungarians on vacation who decided to go to the match. I wasn't in Split that day (Zadar in fact) and all these Hungarians were going nuts at a local cafe...you can't say they were all Debrecen fans either.

It's just the few times Croatian/Hungarian NT/clubs met (mainly Dinamo vs. MTK, and a recent WC 2006 qualifier) there seemed to be more Croatian fans at the match

:D hehehe as I just said before, MTK fans they are 5 of them, 2 of them are members here, and that NT match was irrelevant for both sides, you already qualified, we already confirmed our 4th place in the group. :proud: but there were some 1000s Hungary fans at the first game in Zagreb (the one you won 3-0)
nevertheless, always fun to have a balkan or central euro derby ;)

Debrecen fans are not NT fans :)
they can be ;)
the Debrecen fans didn't impress me though, I think once it became 15:0 a Hajduk fan threw a flare into their stand and they all scattered like it was a grenade :D The Ferencvaros fans were a different story though...:lala:

Then some swat team had to come and protect the Debrecen fans from any projectiles. It was more out of frustration though :pp
a lot of da NT fans are Ferencvaros fans ;) trust me, this match will be HYPED, and a huge amount of our boys will reach
when Croatia beat us 3-0 under Loddar I think we brought 4-5000 fans with us to Zagreb or something big like that. Against Italy and Greece there were about 40,000 for each game, and Croatia's quite a big side, so there should be atleast 25000 who go to this game, not counting how many supporters come from Croatia.

That is of course unless MLSZ goes crazy again and decides to charge 10348578393950683820290375 forints for a ticket.
yeah I remember that game in Zagreb, I believe it was because it was the first qualifier of the campaign, fresh hope :pp

Not positive, but I think before the 2002 World Cup Croatia - Hungary played a friendly and it was basically more than half Croatian fans

I remember that game...lots of fighting in the stands.
Dárdai scored an own goal :)
I'm watching that game now :) we're playing really well with Tököli and Tóth Norbi :proud: oh and I forgot it was in Pécs so that's why there were so many Croatians.
