How much do corporate sponsorship deals affect transfers??

For example, is a player from Arsenal (Nike) more likely to join Barcelona (Nike) or Milan (Nike) than say Real (adidas) or Bayern (adidas)??

That be a very good question but I feel that there is little way for us to find out??
Milan is not nike...

If you are referring to Inter, call yourselves Inter. We're the real Milan bitches :finger::ass:
Ballack arrived at Chelsea in our first season with Adidas. Coincidence? I doubt it.
Kaka joined Milan with the help of Adidas.

At that time most Brazilians wore Nike, so I guess Adidas had to find someone to represent them in Brazil.

That's right, we (Inter) are from Milano. :)

And Milan have Adidas so you're even worse off than Inter when it comes to jerseys, sorry buddy! :moan:

Oh, and if you by "bitches" are referring to Inter fans please call us by our correct name "Rulers of the Earth".

Thanks in advance!
As for the topic at hand.

Yes, players are more likely to join a club that shares their sponsor and of course it affects high profile names more than it affects Johnny Nobody. But to quantify the role the sponsor plays is pretty difficult.
It was said at one point that the World Cup Final where Zidane won it for France was due to (huge) Ronaldo playing.... where he was not at all well. Fits? Swallowing of tongue?.... He played cuz Nike ensured that.

Dont know, whether it is a sort of excuse or coporate power or something.

If they can do that...they can influence real solid at club level.

btw, Addias did well in creating a new refershing style of (away) shirt for Ac Milan. Which is No-Change. Only erase a bit of colour. Isnt that a pleasant way of sending NOble Go-Green Messages?

Apologies to my dear cugini, OK then, Inter are more likely to buy from Arsenal.

And yes you are our "bitches" in Milano.

That's kind of different from what I was referring to.

I meant that when Ronaldo moved from Barca to Inter and then from Real to Milan was the deal easier than when he went from Inter to Real because they had different sponsors??
This is interesting, but as said earlier, hard to find out, how big the influence is or how much they help. I only remember reading Adidas paying or sponsoring big portion of Beckhams transfer to Real. And that Nike did the same for Ronaldo's move to Inter from Barca. They ensured their stake in him and the club, in quite a hands on way.
