Is he a great coach ? then tell me about his bio and story

sorry i cant give you a bio or anything since i'm not a fan, but incase u dont know, he is the current coach of chelsea who are currenlty fourth in the EPL... its not bad considering the state they were in before his arrival.... they now tend to have big margins in wins but also are prone to being beaten by lowly opposition on occasion.

in all i dont rate him that highly, i think the safe, sure bet would be irureta... the more i think about it the more i like it...

did anyone see the depor-mallorca match !? tristan's hat-trik was the icing on the cake i'm sure he would blitz the opposition if he came to barca paired with saviola up front ! some say irureta is too defensive, but i disagree, depor looked stunning against mallorca and also agianst quality teams like Man Utd earlier in the CL campaign.. depor do look good to watch these days, and thgere is a certain technical disciple that i also like in their side....

anyhow it seems pointless to debate whos coming, the socios seem to want bianchi, who i'm not too sure will work out well here... he'ld have to get used to la liga for starters.... irureta is a proven winner with limited resources.

oh yeah he is good

but not that good coach like capello, he put Chelsea in the 4th of the premier league...but i think that take ranieri is a big risk....we want a big coach....what about Emme Jacke:D
Why ask that in Barça forum? I hope Ranieri won't be our next coach, I don't like his style.

Barcelona fans vote for new coach

Spanish giants Barcelona are trying to find a new coach for the next season in a bid to revive their flagging fortunes.
Barcelona, whose lost hopes of winning the Spanish Primera Liga title have topped off another mediocre season at the Nou Camp, say they have already spoken to several candidates, among them being Chelsea's Claudio Ranieri, Javier Irureta of Deportivo La Coruna and Carlos Bianchi (ex-Boca Juniors).
Spanish El Mundo Deportivo conducted a poll among the Catalan hinchas to reveal whom they would like to see at the head of Barcelona, DyN news agency reported.
Of 16.348 questioned fans, 27 % give their preference to Carlos Bianchi, then comes Celta de Vigo manager Victor Fernandez with 26 % of votes.
Barca's former manager Louis Van Gaal comes third with 17 % of votes
i don't like rainieri he is too defensive i think more than rexach, irureta is the coach that i want it, this year depor has made a very good football and he will work with the players we have already, also bianchi will work with the players that we have already but irureta is coaching at spain since long time ago. how i said before he this years make depor play good football, but whenhe was at celta he did too. so i go for irureta although i think for barça is easier take bianchi

Van Gaal 3rd?? Are they dumb or what??
Talks with Irureta have stopped. According to a Catalan journalist Irureta told Barcelona directors that the club demanded from him silverware after two years as coach. So I guess hi is not considered a "winner".
Signing Ranieri would be a greater misstake than the one Gaspart`s mother did when she decided to sleep with Gaspart`s father. Ranieri is pure crap! I don`t want a italian-bloody-boring coach. Ranieri won`t provide us with anything. The only thing he`s fameous for is threatening Maradona.
Ask any Atletico fan how good is Ranieri. You can get better answers from Atletico forum.

Ranieri won't rule out Barca
By Adrian Curtis

Chelsea coach Claudio Ranieri has not ruled himself out of the running for the Barcelona job.

Ranieri: Barca move?
(PhilCole/Allsport)
The Italian, who is in talks with the Stamford Bridge club over a new three-year contract worth around £40,000-a-week, has been identified by the Spanish giants as a possible replacement for Carlos Rexach at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona confirmed that Ranieri is one of three names on their shortlist and Ranieri said: 'It is very flattering when your name is mentioned in relation to a club like Barcelona.

'At the same time, these stories do not distract me from my objectives of giving my all to Chelsea to achieve fourth place in the Premiership and reach the FA Cup final.'

Ranieri had held detailed negotiations with Chelsea over a new three-year contract but Barcelona's vice-president Angel Fernandez said that Ranieri, Boca Juniors coach Carlos Bianchi and Javier Irureta of Deportivo La Coruna have been sounded out for Rexach's job.

Ranieri is in his second season at Stamford Bridge and still has one more year of his contract to run.

Shut up!

Chelsea is the team that has scored most goals in the premiership after Pool and United, they have also let in the least goal after Pool, so basically Ranieri built up a good defence and attack on the same time. The way Chelsea played is defenitely not boring italian football. Don't be so ignorant the next time.
Seems like Bianchi will be our coach. Well, I hope he`ll improve in Europe too.
