From BBC:

Houllier laughs off O'Neill link

Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier insists he is not concerned by rumours linking Martin O'Neill with a move to Anfield in the summer.

Celtic manager O'Neill himself declared the reports were "totally and utterly untrue" and Houllier said he and the team had not taken them seriously.

"The players are like me, they do not care what is said," said Houllier.

"It made me laugh, but it is not unsettling. The players just ignore it, but I joke with them about it all.

Liverpool face non-league Yeovil in the FA Cup on Sunday and an upset would put further pressure on Houllier.

The Anfield club have failed to find their form in the Premiership this season and have seen their title chances evaporate already.

However, the Frenchman said he was "quite relaxed and confident."

"But it is not about me, it is about the club," he continued.

"The club is more important than me, that is all that matters."

Houllier added that he would not be tempted to bring in any new players in the transfer window.

"I will not be buying in the transfer window, by the end of the month all my injured players will be back, they will be like new signings for us," he said.

Michael Owen and Stephane Henchoz are set to return against Yeovil.
