Honour for Mladen - loss for Switzerland

Croatia coach Mirko Jozic has named his squad for the friendly match against Hungary on May 8 and included GC's young striker Mladen Petric!

So i assume that he was eligable for Switzerland :sigh:

Thats a shame if thats the case although there are plenty of good up and coming strikers for Switzerland

Actually I think the Croat teamchef just wanted to make sure that Petric can't change his mind and plays for Switzerland. I can't imagine that he will go to the world cup...

You're probably right, he won't play in the WC and was only called up to ensure he's a future possibility.

I understand how that would bother the Swiss, nobody wants to lose players.
