I dont know if this has been posted before, but the signs are that football is shrinking in popularity in Croatia....

Good gains by Rijeka and NK Zagreb, but whats with Zadar, Dinamo and Hajduk??? I can sort of understand Dinamo, but Hajduk?? Whats going on here. Attendances are down 3.5% which to me is worrying.

Hajduk are getting crowds of 10,000 + since the winter break.

Also, when the crowds are that low, derby games count for a huge amount of fans for the year. This is what usually brings the average up for Dinamo and Hajduk.

I also don't understand Inter. When they got promoted a few years ago they got a crowd of around 5,000 for the promotion play off game. Now they are third in the league and a few points from top, yet nobody comes to their games?

Kamen Ingrad used to get crowds of 5,000 + when they came in the league and were doing well. A shame to see them now, especially because they have a nice little stadium.

3.5% is not that much of a drop off even over a year and considering they just came off the winter break it might be a good thing.

Wait until the season is finished and we'll see, there's still some more games to go.

Cheers
