This is his Zaragoza game analyze on 90 dakika (NTV):

1. Zaragoza is a very weak team
2. The Spanish league is not better than the Turkish..... what does teams like zaragoza, bilbao etc have that Malatya, Gencler and Anakaragücü dont have!
3. Valencia, barcelona and real madrid are not good teams. If Fener played them i would still say fener was the favourite.
4. Alex is not a good player....he cant make a decent cross!
5. Aurelio is definately not a good player....he is overrated!
6. How can anyone say the Turkish league is bad when GS has won the Uefa Cup playing in the same league?
7. When GS won the Uefa Cup they played much much better teams than Fener (Bologna, Hertha Berlin, Mallorca, leeds and arsenal). These teams were all fighting for the championships in the respective leagues...(he didnt mention the teams though)
8. Alex is no match with Hagi!
9. Ribery is a worldclass player

What was the idiot smoking when he was writing this? :D

So you agree that Bologna, Hertha Berlin, Mallorca were much much better teams....and that they were all playing for the championship in their leagues? :D

I also find it very interesting that people who has only seen this guy play for like 40-50 minutes in gs jersey already thinks he is a worldclass player....:D

The fun part was when he bashed GS fans and their major Fener complex....:howler:

He literally said every bad word that could be said about GS fans and how they disrespected their own team by caring more about Fener.....now try telling this to Cihan! :D

Some people follow the french league. His career didn't start in Galatasaray. ;)

Arsenal and Leeds finished in 2nd and 3rd place in the PL. The other teams he mentioned weren't close to winning the title.

1. Then who are these people who follow french football?

2. Did you know him from before Dennis?

3. Do you consider him a world class player?

4. Do you know where his career started?

5. Can you make a good ananlyze of a player who has played 50 minutes in GS jersey?

Before i forget......hagi is not even close to alex's class1 Stats show this clearly.

Alex has already in his first season in a new team and a new league scored more than 15 goals and made 11 assists.....to this you can add that alex has character....he is basically a nice guy....whilst Hagi likes to spit and stamp on refs......;)

I didn't watch him play before we bought him, but I haven't claimed that he is a World class player. I think he looks very promsing from what I've seen. What I do know is that he has been praised in France and that he was one of the best players in the french league in the autumn.
Some Galatasaray supporters on this board live in France and have seen him play while he played for Metz. I'm sure they don't rate him based on the 50 minutes he has played in Turkey.

But what do you expect them to say.....that he sucks...:D

But you think he is a great player and you have only seen him for 50 minutes....and imo he hasnt done anything....and i mean anything that would even say something about his ball skills. Some runs...and 2-3 moves and all of a sudden he is a great player....

I know Anelka is a world class player....but even though he has scored one goal and made one assist im not too happy with his performance......because he is not matchfit yet!

But if you can get that he is a great player from 2-3 moves then i wonder what you people would have said about Alex or yattara if they were your players.....

Best player in France.....:).....sure....if you trust our honourable Turkish media!

Like it or not i really doubt that GS would afford the best player in French league.....:)

thats his 1st year in european football you can't expect same things as bagi and he played for real and barcelona so you can t compare him but he is only 26 and he is much better than bagi you know that but you cant take it ;)

and u said he is now better than anelka :D

he only played 2 games and he scored 1 and set up 2

I love it when people use this special rating system that i dont know about....is it the logarithmic system or what....:D

10 times better....:D......he is alreay 10 times worse....he doesnt have an assist nor a goal!

Dennis, how can a player be highly rated in the French league in his first season if im not mistaken.....:D

You didnt say he is a worldclass player.....but you still havent denied it.....;)

And there wasnt any big clubs after him....if there were he wouldnt have gone to gs.....plus.....gs wouldnt have the money to buy him.

But time will tell how good he is....;)

Sorry, but I couldn't leave it unnoticed. Alex already played in Europe back in 2002 for Parma, but he didn't do much and left for Brazil before the end of the season in Serie A.

As for comparisons, I think it is way too early to compare Alex with Hagi. We all know what Hagi has achieved, but it is still unclear of what Alex will turn out to be. He is still young, and he still has to prove who he really is.

And yes, Hagi had an attitude problems on the field, but hey! There always were people who took action on the pitch much more serious than they were supposed to - George Best, Maradona, Eric Cantona, Gheorghe Hagi etc. but it doesn't diminish a bit their reputation as great players with superior skills and talent.

Cengo, brother

You say about Ribery that

But how come we’ve never seen any big demand for “the greatest player of our universe” Nicholas Anelka either? If I’m not getting confused, until recently he was playing for Manchester City, an average English team, before Fenerbahce has bailed him out. And I really don’t see what makes him better than any other player in Turkish League. At least, Ribery is considered as a future star of French national team (this is an opinion of French specialists who I assume saw Ribery to play for more than 50 minutes), unlike Anelka who hasn’t been called for any international game in the past couple of years.
I know, some of you may probably say that “Oh, Anelka is good because he played for the team like Real Madrid”. But don’t forget that nowadays it’s not a big deal – even Elvir Baljic played for Real Madrid, but does it make him a world class player too? ;)

you'll see what that rating system is about in week 33... :dazed: :dielaugh:
edit: untill now anelka did nothing, mate...sorry to say that but he scored a goal that my aunt would score too if i had one and i don't even know his assist(perhaps in the 7-0 against kayseri? wow what a big thing)....

It is too early to judge Anelka, Ribery, Alex etc.....

When I used to follow football much more closely, Anelka was doing some great stuff in the best NT of the world, and he was transfferred to Real Madrid. He has amazing skill, will probably be a killer striker in the Turkish league. Claiming that he is not a good player just because he didn't do anything in his first Fenerbahce European game is non sense. This guy is a great player if he gets back to his real form.

About Ribery, I have never seen him play until the Sakarya game, but he impressed me in that one. He reminds me of Ridvan, very quick, great on one on ones, always advances towards the goal. But a performance against Sakarya is not going to tell us how he is going to be. Time will tell just like Anelka's case.

About Alex. I think he is a great player but comparing him to Hagi right now is like comparing me to my 40 year old boss. One of them is just starting the most productive times in his career and the other one has finished his. When Alex ends his career then we can compare. The great thing about Hagi was that he could win the games by himself, and he was a leader in the pitch. These things come with experience and thats something Alex is going to gain.
