when i clicked on my msn messenger desktop icon, this message occured:

"Ordinal not found"

"The ordinal 31 could not be located in the dynamic link library msidcrl.dll."

huh? :googly:

what can i do to solve this problem?

i cant live without msn messenger, using windows messenger(comes with windows xp) at the moment :(

Try to uninstall it reinstall it method, seems to solve most computing problems :tongue:

Or try www.google.com and try and type as much of the error message that you can into the searc engine.

i did uninstall and reinstall, msn 7.5, the new windows live beta is slow with me so i'm gonna wait for the official like i did with 7.5.

help :(

could it be something to do with ther windows live beta? Have you tried putting the error in google? it always helps me with my problems.

also i downloaded the file "msidcrl.dll" from somebody's upload in rapid share, copied it in the msn directory, still the same msg ...

i uninstalled windows live, then installed msn 7.5, then this happened .
