In contempt of these "championships" I didnt watch the game. But from what i saw on the news along with his other performances, I challenge anyone to tell me Toldo isnt the keeper of the tournament. Do you think Buffon will get his place back after this?

Geez! I really can't describe how great Toldo was yesterday. I mean saving 3 PKs !! God, how can Francesco did that?
I've been always telling the people I know that Toldo is the no.1 goalie in Italy and even in the world, but a few believe me. Now I guess I can clap all their faces.

Italy didn't win. But Toldo will be remembered as MVP of Euro2000.

Toldo was Italy's best player in Euro...He gave it his best played with heart, even in the final when he was kicked in the nose he jumped up, not allowing the ref to take him off the field for the blood rule...

I also have to say Del Piero cost Italy the Final, the two shots he had were disgusting and he should never be allowed to play for Italy again, every time he plays for Italy he costs them goals...

I feel very bad for Francesco. During the last five games he made one slight mistake. On Wiltords goal.. It shouldnt have mattered anyway if that hasbeen Del Piero had scored on his two spot-on chances. If I had missed chances like that in my junior team I would have killed myself.

On the positive side, this cup has confirmed Toldo as Italys nr 1, and for the moment I consider him the best in Europe.
