From Tuesday, the 18th of April 2000, the FC Farul Constanta club stadium has a new name: Gheorghe Hagi stadium.

This decision was taken due to the Romania - Cyprus freindly match which will be hosted here on the 26th of April and also because this is the stadium where the Romanian super star begun his career in a match between FC Farul and FCM Bacau.

The stadium has a capacity of 22.000 places, all seated.

What do you think about this decision? Do you think is courios or normal?

P.S.: The stadium is 1 km away from me.

Great, he deserves this :) . It seems very properly for the stadiums on which the great stars "were born" to carry their name because they are the ones that made the people :) happy. I believe you have a nice compaq stadium. Probably before it seats were put you stadium had greater capacity cauz our stadium (which carries the name of the bulgarian player of the century "Georgi Asparuhov") has been reduced from 45000 to 32000. And once at this stadium there were 55000. It's also nice that your stadium is near you. Our is about 7-8 km of very long "journey" of my home.

Statue, wow (even more great)! We have one also (of Asparuhov I mean).
Yeah, I always hate when I have to wait for tickets. I hope you'd succeed in getting one quickly. These rows are PAIN. :)
Can you tell me who is called up for this match?
Besides, Bulgaria would play Ucraina at the same day, so I guess I'd also have to stand up in some rows (I doubt the interest would be so big cauz our national team is not very good recently). But the important thing is...I'm gonna see our beloved Sheva . God, he's coming. I'm there even if this is the last thing I'd do. :)
