Sorry to hear about his death. He was one of the most important players in your history. A world cup winner, and a fine captain.

I find it hard to believe his death. :(

The way he received the World Cup was so calm, not much passion shown on his face. Like getting a pint of beer from a bartender.

Fritz Walter was a German legend. I know he led the Die Mannschaft to the WC title in 1954, but that's not something to be grateful for. The Hungarians had a superbe squad at that time and deserved to win the title far more than the Germans. I think that the only people which are happy with all those German successes are the Germans themselves. Rest of the world hates the ugly football of Die Mannschaft, which has been so successful in the past. Die Mannschaft has brought football nothing. It only takes... titles.
