Galiani

I pranishëm në stadium ditën e ndeshjes që do të luhet në Tiranë do të jetë edhe

zv/presidenti i Milanit, Adriano Galiani.

I hope that this time it's true !!! It's not the first time that in the Albanian papers they are talking about international friendlies like Elbasani - Barcelona some years ago ...

Taqi Oil, in cooperation with AC Milan, organized last June in Tirana the "Milan Junior Camp". It was the first time ever that it was holded in Albania. Even Daniele Massaro went to Albania in order to coach the Albanian talents.

This sport and fun experience for youngsters will consist in a week of technical and athletic training, beside precious tactical teachings. Thanks to the effort of the sponsors involved, the Milan Junior Camp in Tirana will be completely free of charge for the attending kids.

For over a century, A.C. Milan has been synonymous with football, entertainment, excitement, and success: the "Rossoneri" team leads the world in the number of international trophies it can boast and for the second year in a row has been ranked by FIFA the first football club in the world. Since its foundation in 1899, AC Milan has won 17 Italian league championships, 7 Champions’ League, 4 Intercontinental cups, 5 European Supercups, 5 Italian Supercups, 5 Italia Cup, and 2 Cup Winners’ cups. Moreover, the last Champions League Cup, won in Athens in last May was exposed during the press conference.

The inaugural press conference saw the special attendance of Mr. Daniele Massaro, a former champion with Milan and the national Italian football team, now the Public Relations Director, of Mrs. Francesca Pietra, A.C. Milan Responsible for Milan Junior Camp, e Mrs. Francesca Scarpa, A.C. Milan Marketing Manager, who both flew in from Italy for this important occasion.

"We are here today in Albania because we strongly believe in this country's potential in the world of football. The young people who will be attending the Milan Junior Camp will get the opportunity to train using the methods of A.C. Milan's official technical staff," stated Daniele Massaro. "If we note some kids with particular talent during the event, we will follow them carefully, offering them the opportunity to join the big family of the Rossoneri. I’m particularly glad that we will now be also in Albania, where Italian Serie A, is the most followed European league.” concluded the footballer, who was Milan's highest goal scorer in the 1994 Champions League.

Mrs. Francesca Pietra, Responsible for Milan Junior Camp "Our philosophy is to cultivate talented kids in their own country, helping them grow through the instructions and the tactical discipline provided by our trainers. This year a huge 15,000 boys and girls will take part in the Milan Junior Camps held in 37 countries all over the world. This is a result we are very proud of."

"There's no selection of any kind. We want to give all kids the opportunity to wear the colours of A.C. Milan," confirmed Mr. Marco Schembri, GM of World Camp, the Italian company that organized the event. The best three kids selected at the Milan Junior Camp in Tirana will be invited to come to Milan and show off their talent.

Mr. Rezart Taci, GM of TACI OIL INTERNATIONAL, which is the main sponsor of the event: “It is very important for a young company like Taci Oil international to be active in everything helps our country to grow and this occasion with AC Milan is an important reason for us to give a dream to the Albanian youth generation.”

Mr. Lorenzo Roncari, ABA Bank CEO: “We are proud that ABA and Intesa Sanpaolo were able to introduce the Milan Junior Camp organizers to the right partners in Albania and together we can see today the A.C. Milan dream become a reality for the Albanian children”.

A.C. Milan is willing to thank His Excellency Saba d’Elia the Italian ambassador in Tirana, Mrs. Liri Berisha, President of the Albanian Children Foundation “Domenick Scaglione”, TACI OIL INTERNATIONAL, AMC, ABA BANK, Sheraton Tirana Hotel and Towers, FC Dinamo Tirana, Top Channel for backing this initiative.
