this is an example of how low a level of referees in french league!

PARIS, April 7 (Reuters)(DS) - Monaco said on Friday they will sue an Olympique Marseille official for assault over the sending off of their Argentine midfielder Marcelo Gallardo during their 4-2 defeat.
"I'm not contesting Marseille's victory but I can't understand the dismissal off Gallardo," said Monaco president
Jean-Louis Campora who alleged Gallardo was punched by Marseille assistant coach Christophe Galthier.
Gallardo was one of three players sent off during the match which eased Marseille's relegation woes while postponing Monaco's French championship title celebrations.
Referee Alain Sars said he sent off Gallardo and banished Galthier from the touchline after being told by the fourth official that the pair had fought in the players' tunnel as the teams left the pitch at halftime.
Gallardo had already been booked during the first half for dissent.
"This decision spoilt the match... We won't leave it at that because Gallardo is going to sue," Campora said.
"It's normal to turn to the courts because these are serious actions. It's dangerous for the future of football."
The home side had Spanish midfielder Ivan de la Pena sent off in the 37th minute for elbowing Swedish striker Pontus Farnerud while Monaco's Belgian defender Philippe Leonard was sent off in the 45th minute for a second bookable offence.

or maybe this was set by the french soccer authority, so marseille could win this game and didn't have to lose their face... :(
