lets see theres a free kick.

the wall is set up at allowed distance.

however the free kick taker decides to move the ball back (more room to kick or curve, watever he wanted)

is the wall allowed to move up at the allowed distance? or it cannot move?

Can't do that. You have a little freedom on indirect kicks. However, for free kicks, the referee almost always points the spot out and sets the wall. You have no leeway.

cose i was argueing with the free kick taker that you cant do that.

Ay a good question tho because i move the ball back all the time on freekicks and the wall cant move back as ive seen

Yeah, technically you're not allowed to move the ball back, so it's a bit of a moot point.
