The poor guy. His migraine hasn't gone away yet, and he's expected to take up to five days to fully recover from it. He's even having a brainscan:

"FREDDIE LJUNGBERG is to have a brain scan after fears over his health.

The Arsenal star will be sent for tests this week following continued problems with migraines.

The Swedish midfielder missed the Champions League clash against Rosenborg a week ago, complaining of a severe headache."

Get well soon, Freddie.

They are covering Freddie's migraine-attacks daily over here and it doesn't look good. He was supposed to go to the hospital today to see a nerv-system specialist (neurolog in swedish) but he was in too much pain to go. The only thing he can do currently to get better is to rest.

A swedish doctor expressed his thought's on Freddie's case:
"How often you get migraine-attacks is usually a direct reflection of your well being in general."

He will most likely not play against Portsmouth this week.

Yes, he's been suffering from migraine-attacks since he was 14 years old but this time he's going through the worst yet. Doctors just sad the only way to get back on track will be to see over all his food and drink-habbits. He must be much more carefull than you and me. No more cheese and wine apperantly. I understand the wine part...but cheese? What's up with that?

Must be something in cheese that sets it off or makes it worse, I guess. I feel for him because as soon as he gets back into some good form, he gets struck down by this. I hope it doesn't ruin his Christmas.

I'm sure his mom sends him some swedish meatballs, small frying sausages, herring, christmas ham, jansson's temptation, beetroots and bread to dip in the pot of hot ham-liquid so he can celebrate a traditional swedish christmas.
And of course a videotape of "Donald Duck and his friends celebrates Christmas - From all of us to all of you" which is shown every christmas 15.00 and has been done so since 1960. A program I believe about 40-60% of the swedes are watching.

If he's not up by then that will for certain get him back on both feet! ;) hehe

Ohh that christmas spirit...

thsy should have sorted thois out last time he suffered them.

I am sure he can't be eating cheese, everyone who has migraines knows that is the worst thing you can eat to set them off, i would have thought they would have told him this last time.

hope he gets beeter soon, this is turening out like the time when he had a month off with a cold a couple of years ago. :wallbang:

I'm sure he knew of this, or I hope so. The doctors talked more in general than about Freddie as a person. What needed to be done and so on...

If cheese is that bad to eat when you suffer from regular migraine-attacks he should most likely be aware of that but he might have some bigger issues to deal with, who knows...
I'm just wishing him a fast recovery. We need him.

I'm not totaly sure but I believe he might loose his Swedish citizenship if he doesn't eat it all. :wallbang:

There are some things you have to do to be able to call yourself "a swede", that's one of the things, another is to jump and dance around a giant pole made out of flowers on midsummer day and sing:

"Små grodorna, små grodorna (The small frogs, the small frogs)
är lustiga att se. (are amusing to watch)
Små grodorna, små grodorna (the small frogs, the small frogs)
är lustiga att se. (are amusing to watch)
Ej öron, ej öron, (no ears, no ears)
ej svansar hava de! (no tails they have!)
Ej öron, ej öron, (no ears, no ears,)
ej svansar hava de! (no tails they have!)
Ko-ack-ack-a, ko-ack-ack-a,
Ko-ack-ack-ack-ack-a.
Ko-ack-ack-a, ko-ack-ack-a,
Ko-ack-ack-ack-ack-a."

Hmm ;)

Wakky ...u actually do all that?

I guess we have to look upon the real reasons now why Ljungberg left Sweden in the first place?
was it really football? :D

blimey, we entrust the future of English football to one of them lunatic Swedes. :shades:

I can see Eriksson's team talk now against France now

"right lads, don't worry about the small frogs, they are amusing to watch, but they have no ears so really are quite pathetic, Zidane doesn't even have a tail therefore he is a twat" :D

Haha :D

Eriksson is a pretty typical swede I would say, cold as ice on the outside but a nice bloke beneath the surface...but well, probably a little bit too much of a ladiesman to be called "a normal swede" when I think about it;)

I'm a bit confused though, yes he's a nice bloke but I still don't see how the girls he got actually wanted him...
Or well, fame and money as usual I assume. Anna Nicole... :yuck:

And Neebz, we do alot more than all that...but that is way too crazy to even say here ;) :D

I guess we need a separate thread so that you can tell us more about the 'special' endeavours which Swedes follow ;)
