Cissé will play this friendly just before the world cup. Saha is injured.

Still in memory how he broke his leg alone the last time. :scared:

France : Lloris - Sagna, Ciani, Escudé, Evra - L. Diarra, Toulalan - Ribéry, Gourcuff, Henry (cap.) - Anelka.

Spain : Casillas (cap.), Sergio Ramos, Puyol, Piqué, Arbeloa - Xabi Alonso, Busquet - Iniesta, Cesc, Silva - Villa.

Except the central defense, i consider this as our starting line-up for the world cup. A good test then to judge this Domenech team.

Well the second goal is harsh cause we were doing a bit better for 10 minutes or so. But mainly we let them totally play their game. We lost the ball too quickly. Gourcuff is alone between a deep midfield.

Ribéry seems in shape though. Ciani longs ball are not that bad at all but the central partnership is weak. Twice before that second goal, they could have gone through it easily.

Both kits looks class by the way.

IMO, France should drop Henry and one of the 2 DM (Lass, if you ask me). Add another attacking minded midfielder (Malouda? Govou? Maybe Benzema as striker and Anelka in the right?) to be Gourcouff's partner. Place Ribery in the left... and that's it.

Maybe you don't fix the whole thing, but it would look much better.

I couldn't believe he kept the double defensive midfield until the end losing 0-2.
