Maybe Trezeguet, or Micoud.
Marseille didn't have any really good player this year, Pires was the only one who comes close.

I thought it was the right decision by the French players to choose Gallardo.

I think Trezeguet, Sonny Anderson, and Marco Simone could of had a chance to win the award.
