France look like one of the big favourites. More than Spain or Holland, they seem to manage the pressure they are under. From a superb defense they control the game and Henry or Anelka can make the difference anytime.

Still I wonder what will happen if they go behind. In both games against Danemark and Tsjechie they were lucky not to come 0-1 down. About the fact if it was Barthez or the opponent missing an open chance you can discus (I think Barthez is the most overrated goallie in the world so my point of view is clear), the fact remains we don't know how they will react in such an occasion.

Although they look spectacular I think they are very (too) defensive. A defense with Desaiily, Blanc and Thuram doesn't need 3(!) defensive midfielders in front of them. Only Zidane, Henry and Anelka (2 forwards who play counter attack) play offense. If France go behind can they switch to a more offensive style? I don't know!
