Mbappé missing through injury for 1 month (thig). Tuchel's pre-season training program is questioned...

Here is his injury history, his first muscle and long-term injury : https://www.transfermarkt.com/kylian-mbappe/verletzungen/spieler/342229

He's supposed to be back on 22nd September (Lyon v PSG).

(WOuld like to see a duo Haller-Mbappé one day)

Zeu 23 to face Albania and Andorra. At home, Stade de France.

Gardiens
Alphonse Areola (PSG)
Hugo Lloris (Tottenham)
Mike Maignan (Lille).

Défenseurs
Léo Dubois (Lyon)
Benjamin Pavard (Bayern Munich)
Aymeric Laporte (Manchester City)
Clément Lenglet (FC Barcelone)
Raphaël Varane (Real Madrid)
Kurt Zouma (Chelsea)
Lucas Digne (Everton)
Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich).

Milieux
Blaise Matuidi (Juventus Turin)
Steven Nzonzi (Galatasaray)
Paul Pogba (Manchester United)
Moussa Sissoko (Tottenham)
Corentin Tolisso (Bayern Munich)

Attaquants
Wissam Ben Yedder (AS Monaco)
Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)
Nabil Fekir (Bétis Séville)
Olivier Giroud (Chelsea)
Antoine Griezmann (FC Barcelone)
Thomas Lemar (Atlético Madrid)
Jonathan Ikoné (Lille).

Coman's back in the group. Ikoné's first.
Kanté's missing. N'Zonzi (Galat) and Sissoko are still there. Matuidi too. Looks like Tolisso is not injured anymore.
Probably we'll see more of Laporte and/ or Lenglet.
Dubois is the lone true RB. Pavard doesn't perform well anymore at this position, this since a long time. So let's see. Zouma is another solution at this position of right back even though primarly a CB. Let's see.
This is the first of Fékir now as a Betis player and Ben Yedder (Monaco now) is the only "most goal-scoring type" in the absence of Mbappé. Griezmann shown some efficiency with his new club Barça lately too, and took his responsabilities there too whilst Messi and Suarez were sitting in the bleachers (Barça-Betis, 5-2, Griez 2x, Fékir 1, the opener).

Not selected : GK's Mandanda (OM, looks like the end) and Lecomte (former Montpellier and now Monaco). Umtiti (Barça)... Lacazette (Arsenal), Haller (former Frankfurt, now West Ham), Ferland Mendy (former OL, now Real), Dembélé (Barça, it seems that they want to get rid of him). No Martial (Man U). No N'Dombélé (former OL, now Spurs). No Mousa Dembelé (CF, OL).

And for the moment, but only for the moment, no Eduaaarrdoooo Camaaaavingaaaa!!

Also, here is the U21 list for September 2019 :

Gardiens : Dimitry Bertaud (Montpellier), Alban Lafont (Nantes), Gaëtan Poussin (Bordeaux)

Défenseurs : Kelvin Amian (Toulouse), Rayan Aït-Nouri (Angers), Nicolas Cozza (Montpellier), Colin Dagba (PSG), Boubacar Kamara (OM), Ibrahima Konaté (Leipzig), Evan Ndicka (Francfort), Dan-Axel Zagadou (Dortmund)

Milieux : Houssem Aouar (Lyon), Antoine Bernède (Salzbourg), Mattéo Guendouzi (Arsenal), Imran Louza (Nantes), Jeff-Reine Adelaïde (Lyon), Boubakary Soumaré (Lille)

Attaquants : Moussa Diaby (Leverkusen), Amine Gouiri (Lyon), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Odsonne Edouard (Celtic)

Players who formerly played in this category (at the last Euro at least) were Tousart (Lyon), Del Castillo (Rennes), Ikoné now in the A-team... Bamba (ST, Lille), Mateta (ST, Mainz), Ibrahima Sissoko (MF, Strasbourg), Marcus Thuram (ST, Guingamp), Ntcham (Celtic, ST).

DF's Caci (Strasbourg), Niakhaté (Mainz), Upamecano (Leipzig), Ballo-Touré (Monaco) and Malenga Sarr (Nice) are not eligible anymore.
As a reminder, in that Euro 2019 U21, France got eliminated by Spain in the semis (4-1).
