Its amazing how some players have the motivation and skill to excel at both.

Apparently De Zeew (that played for Wigan) has a doctorate in Medicine.
And Xavi has something in Finance.
I know theres plenty more and im really curious to find out.

Doesn't Xabi Alonso have an Open University degree in Economics?

Socrates qualified as a doctor while he was still playing.

Rooney I think is still studying for his doctorate in Applied Quantum Mechanics.

Fiori you mean, and he is a lawyer.

Sitting on your bench for a decade, earning his way to law school and then SOME, while getting the best seat in the house, rubbing shoulders with top class players alll day long. He wasnt really much of a footballer because he basically never set foot on the pitch, but yeah, he sweet for him hehe. But one cant say he had it tough alternating footie and law school at all ;)

Ok, he is forgettable and anonymous, but how come both of you dont know his name when he was with you SO long, and just recently left? (for this season)

Storari has been a good goalie that has started in Serie A for years for minor clubs, you signed him and then loaned him to Fiorentina as their 2nd goalie, totally different guy.

Ok, here he is, a hint, not the guy in the middle:

Bilic (law), Boban (history). Boban though got his after his career. Zvonimir Soldo went pretty far in his law degree but didn't graduate with it

I know it doesn't mean much, but the majority of players in the MLS have college degrees and some of the Americans abroad, Bocanegra is the one I can think of off the top of my head
