Can't say I know anything about it. The U-21 team is about to play in the Euro2002. It's probably a Serie C U-21 team or something.

Italy play in Group with South Africa, Germany, Ireland and Japan. Japan defeated Ireland 2-0 today, while Germany and South Africal are playing right now, and it's 0-0 so far in the 60th minute. (Note - They play 80 minutes only)

Italy don't play till Thursday againt Ireland. Marchionni isn't in the team since he's included in the Under 21 Italian side for Euro 2002. I don't know who's in the team. I think the players picked proabably are from the under 20 team like England's, but they're certainly not Serie C players. :)

Final Score - Germany 1 South Africa 1. Giovanni Rector, what an amazing player, scored 1st for South Africa, and Franz equalized for Germany. It was a great game.

BTW Tommi, I don't know of a site that is covering this tournament. Eurosport had a section about it last year, but not this year.

I know the tournament and have been watching it for years, last years we lost to spain i think, Generoso Rossi was the keeper and he sucked on penalties. Can anyone post this years squad?. Anyway the Toulon tournament is a classic one, many great players today started off playing in Toulon, so i will defenitely see some Italy games if i can find some time, unfortunately it's not on my side these days. Ciao!

Forza Italia

Final score: Italy 2 Ireland 0. Pellicori scored both goals in the 2nd half.

The 1st was from a corner played by Balzaretti, and headed into the net by Pellicori. 2nd goal was a gift from the Irish defense, they gave the ball up easily and Pellicori took full advantage to score.

Balzaretti is the man of the match IMO :)

Japan beat South Africa earlier in the day, 3-0.
