So what an important match this weekend will be. We're currently sitting tied 4th last on 23 pts with Fiorentina. A win here can put us 3 points above the bottom 4 !! A loss can leave us 3 pts from safety. Lazio are only a pt a head of us so we have a chance of overtaking them also, but they have Atalanta at home, so we'd better start praying.
Unfortunately a few of our players will be backing up from games mid week. Bonera played a full gamem Gila 45 mins, Bresc 70 mins and Grella 60 mins. Hopefully they're well fit for the weekend game, as it's one of our most vital games of the past few weeks.
According to parmafc.com "Cannavaro and Savi worked apart. Cardone, Bovo and Ferronetti did not take part in the session." ... hopefully this isn't too serious, as that's 2 of our starting 4 backs and 2 other important defenders who may have slight injuries. Bonera will also be backing up the int game, but Bettarini will be super fit and raring to go :star:
If these are just precautions and nothing serious, then i expect us to field the same team we did last week, which worked very well for us. I look forward to Bettarini playing again, also Bovo and Canna's rather good displays last week should help this week. Forza Parma!!
