Didn't anybody see the match Vargas played? It was a shame. The guy was nervous, it was his first big match in Franchi, but his performance was awful. Hope he gets better, cause today he looked like a Juve player. However, we did not loose against Juvemerda and despite the fact we have to win every match at home, it is not a bad result.

Don't be that harsh on the guy. It surely wasn't his best performance ever, but except of shameful giving ball away around 90+th, he wasn't worse than majority of guys on the field.

Darragh, I would say Melo's second card was 50-50, but above all i would say the first one was undeserved. Osvaldo's yesterday performance was the best after like 55th minute, when he got substituted by Jovetic. And Zauri, well let's say he was slightly better. But I hope Comotto gets ready soon.

I think the direct red was a bit hard. He basically just ran into the path of Poulsen who kicked his leg. Possibly a bit reckless, but I almost never seen a situation like this. Let me say again, Poulsen was the one kicking Melo as he cleared the ball.

I agree. And the first yellow was very similar but there was even less contact there, the guy was really unlucky to receive the red for those two incidents.

Anyway, well done guys, it's always good when the Gobbi are left disappointed in such a way, after being so close.
