After the headlines in Sunday's sports papers about a possible part-exchange deal involving Gianni Commandini and Juventus striker Filippo Inzaghi, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stepped in to quash the rumours.
"The player is absolutely not for sale," he insisted. If anyone had any remaining doubts, he added, "The club has not made any moves towards offloading him [Comandini]. So the rumours that see him at the heart of some transfer move are entirely without foundation."
