Man City are just humouring us again, dont take them too seriously, they just want to get attention and feel like a big club for a while. There 5 minutes will be over when Berbatov is officially unveiled as a Manchester United player.

They outbid ManUtd.

In any case they either Get Berbatov or they get ManUtd to pay more :howler:

Doubt Spurs will want to lower it... and Berba may consider of playing for a Super-Wealthy Club of Abu Dhabi ;)

I wonder what SAF would say to Glazers.

Either way if berbs decides to go to City, he'd have to gamble on them finishing top 4 (city won't).

Robinho will stay, it's too close to the deadline, all Real have to do is bide their time, and the transfer window will close, then real can butter him up and sign a new contract.

Mitko's transfer seems to be one of those things which never seems to happen despite going close. I'd have to say that Man City bidding and having their bid accepted probably has to do with the Corluka transfer. I don't really see this transfer as much of a change for Berbatov; while City allready have a gazzilion strikers on their book. The only thing better about City for Berbatov is the presence of Petrov in City-the two are close friends.

I think in the end if MU doesnt bid enough City might just get him

The 20-year-old is rated as one of Brazil’s most promising players, and he has become famous for his “seal dribble” where he runs past opponents with the ball glued to his forehead, thus making it almost impossible for him to be tackled.

It was reported at the weekend that Chievo were in negotiations to sign the prodigious youngster, and now the deal has been officially completed.

Kerlon becomes Chievo’s third signing today, follow the capture Mauro Esposito and Santiago Morero, and this transfer is likely to turn many heads in the Calcio community.

The forward is still working his way back to fitness and form at the moment after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in March 2007.

The pint-sized Kerlon has yet to play for the Brazilian national team, but he has represented his country at Under-15 level right up to Under-20, and is tipped by many as a big star of the future.

Hasnt poor little Kerlon been injured numerous times over the last 3 years. It seems this kid has been around forever but due to his pretty poor natural fitness no club up to now wanted to take a chance on him. Hopefully this transfer works out for Chievo and we see a good amounth of Kerlon on the field.

Robihno is definetly not comming to us; the Real Madrid managment are going to freeze him up and pressure him to renew his contract latter on.

MU sold Saha; maybe they alos have someone else besides Berbatov as a back up plan

Milito is one hell of a striker. I can't believe any of the top teams went for him. He was a 20 goals per season striker at ZARAGOZA!!

It's official. Genoa accepted to pay an extra 2 MLN at the very last second.

17.02 Sky Sports News understands that Dimitar Berbatov is currently holding talks with Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, although reports in Spain claim Real Madrid are set to make a £36million bid.

3 mega rich. ManUtd, ManCity, Real Madrid are chasing this guy... WOW !!! Berba wouldnt have a reason to refuse RM, would he.

while on Robinho
18.23 According to Radio Marca in Spain, Manchester City have now made a bid for Real Madrid striker Robinho, who has asked to be allowed to join Chelsea. Reports also suggest Real will make one last bid to sign David Villa, who is also wanted by City, from Valencia. If Real sign Villa, then Robinho could be allowed to leave.

Milito would not have left them in the first place had not for Preziosi's bribery scandal which got Genoa demoted to Serie C after securing promotion to A.

So 2 of La Liga's best strikers have left..

In Spain, there are serious news that say that Robinho may have been sold to Manchester City for 40M. Robinho agreed.
